House: Built in 1936, Westside Lodge is a restored vintage, pre-craftsman home with wood paneling and fir floors, styled with quality furnishings throughout. Sleeping eight, this home has great views of the surrounding forest and the Russian River from most rooms and both porches. On the main floor, the spacious living room features a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace, queen sleeper couch, and 50" HD TV with DVR, and opens to a porch, overlooking the river, with dining set and additional seating. The well-equipped kitchen opens to a formal dining room with a large farmhouse table, and opens to the front porch with a Weber gas grill. There's a half bath also on this floor.       On the lower level, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite is furnished with a king bed, 19" LCD TV with DVD player, and has its own bathroom with tub/shower. Two additional bedrooms each have queen beds and share a large bathroom with enormous, tiled double shower. The central hallway leads to a second covered porch with outdoor seating, a large daybed, and more fantastic river views.

      Grounds: This riverfront home is perched on a forested hillside and has great views of the river and surrounding forest, as well as its own river access. There's a set of stairs down from the road to the front door. Long, but safe and gradual, stairs hug the building and head down to a beautifully landscaped, tree-covered path which leads directly to private river access where there are three single kayaks.
