    Russian River Vacation Rental

          Location: An easy walk to downtown Guerneville's shops, dining and nightlife, Twin Palms enjoys a wonderful location. You can boat downstream to Johnson's Beach or upstream to Drake's Beach in a few minutes. A few minutes away, Armstrong Woods redwoods preserve offers for hiking, picnic grounds, and horseback riding. The Pacific coast is about 20 minutes to the west. Wine tasting at Westside Road is about 10 minutes to the east.

          House: Twin Palms offers a completely remodeled, beautifully furnished home for any season. The updated kitchen has bar seating and is open to a graceful river-view living room and large dining area, seating six. The light-filled living room features a high, open beamed ceiling, beautiful stained glass windows, fireplace, cable TV with DVD, and a wall of sliders that open to the large deck. This home sleeps seven in two bedrooms with queen beds, a small alcove near the bedrooms with a trundle bed, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two full baths with combination tub/showers. If you need to stay connected, this home includes wireless high-speed cable Internet access.

          Grounds: River-front with a fabulous river view, Twin Palms is designed for the perfect vacation. The main living area opens to a wrap-around deck overlooking the river with gas barbecue and patio dining. Stairs lead down to a seasonal dock where there is deep water, but shallow water is just a few feet further. There are two kayaks and a canoe available. On the house lower level, there is a six-person hot tub on the deck. Sheltered under the house is a ping pong table.
