Simply hard to believe this photo was taken today, December 30. And there's no end in sight to this beautiful weather. Some drizzle today, but then sunshine---and it's warm as well. Those folks canoeing were enjoying what is nearly a summer river---low, slow, just not as warm. Tasha isn't really interested in the canoe. She's checking out the dozens of ducks, including two that are coal black, no idea what they are. I don't think I've ever seen black ducks before.

( 3 / 380 )Wow---what an incredible dinner, absolutely perfect all the way, with a really good turn-out which surprised me given that it's Christmas Eve. And Patrick says New Year's Eve dinner will be even better, if that's possible. The Michelin Star folks should stop in and try this restaurant next time they are in the area. Wishing everyone a peaceful, loving holiday, with good food and a great bottle of Russian River wine.
