Next at Pegasus Theater
I'm very excited about the next Pegasus theater production. "Sister Cities" was a hit in 2008 and has been produced numerous times since. An internationally produced playwright, screenwriter, and novelist Colette Freedman was named one of the Dramatist Guild’s “50 to Watch”. She has authored fifteen produced plays, and was commissioned to write a modern adaptation of Uncle Vanya which is in preproduction and has co-written, with International bestselling novelist Jackie Collins, the play Jackie Collins Hollywood Lies, which toured nationally.

A cast of women, including four sisters, reacting to their mother's death, presents independent women of great interest. This time I'll remember to get reservations as these performances tend to sell out.

All Saturday and Sunday performances are $15 general admission. You’re invited to celebrate opening night, Friday, July 20, with complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres for the regular price of a general admission ticket. The four following Fridays are pay-what-you-can. Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees begin at 4 p.m.
Where: Pegasus Playhouse, Canyon Two Road, Rio Nido
When: Debuts Friday, July 20, until Sunday, August 19
You can make reservations online at www.pegasustheater.com or by calling the Box Office at (707) 583-2343.
Please note that this play contains mature themes, some profanity and brief nudity.

Rick Redington

Heard Rick Redington at a private party last night. What a great talent. He reminds of a Bob Dylan songwriter who can actually sing. He has a new CD "Circus" which I will buy. Wish he were staying around (he lives in Vermont) as I would have hired him for my party coming up.

Pegasus Theater

I made a vow this year that I would not miss a single Pegasus Theater production. I went on a whim last night and found it sold out. A friend who was working gave up his volunteer seat for me, so very kind, and I got to see "Norman, Is That You?" As always, the production was excellent, the audience enthusiastic (the front row has to be careful to keep their feet tucked under so the actors don't trip over them). So--in the future I will get reservations. In all the years I have seen their productions, I have never been disappointed. Quite amazing that we have such excellent little theater in our tiny neck of the woods. The link below will keep you up to date on the production schedule.

Creations

Had a spa pedicure and manicure at Creations today---that's the really cute Victorian building on Armstrong Woods Road next to Coffee Bazaar. The space is beautiful (the contractor was one of Russian River Getaways' property owners who is responsible for the spectacular Villa Habana), the services were great, and I am very happy with my gold toe nails and pearlescent pink finger nails. They provide a really wide range of services and I'll be back. This was a birthday gift from my daughter, but I'll go on my own dime in the future. Really worth it and very relaxing, paraffin wax and all.
