Mellow time at the Monte Rio Dog beach this afternoon---my Portuguese Water Dogs always like the water, but other dogs were not so inclined---just hanging out in the sun, sniffing out all the previous dogs, all relaxed and friendly. The dog owners can't help but be relaxed when their pups are so relaxed. What a lovely place, expecially at this time of year when the crowds are gone. A solitary gull oversaw the action, but seeing nothing exciting or edible finally flew away.
