    Russian River Vacation Rental

          Redwood Lodge, sleeping ten, is a comfortable, traditional three level home with nostalgic ambiance and outstanding views of the river. Only river and forest are visible looking out across the river, along with the occasional heron, osprey, family of ducks, and otters. This serene setting is in the quiet Northwood golf course neighborhood, a short distance from the club house and first tee. The house is surrounded by redwood trees, creating privacy and the magic only redwood trees bestow.

          The main living level contains the living room with fireplace, sleeper sofa, and dining area (table for eight) adjacent to the updated kitchen, along with a full bath and master bedroom with queen bed, all rooms opening to the expansive river-view decks with a good assortment of outdoor furniture. The upper level has a bedroom with queen bed and double day bed, with an adjacent full bath. The ground level area has a garage, full bath, and a bedroom with queen bed.

          Redwood Lodge is a great family home for casual getaways. In the summer, the stairs and sunny dock provide good, if a bit steep, river access for swimming and boating---a canoe and kayak are provided. In the winter, the fireplace provides a wonderful focal point for living room gatherings. And having bedrooms on three different levels, each with its own bathroom, allows for a lot of privacy and separate activities.

    Holidays & Event Weekends: Three Nights for President's Day, Memorial Day, Blues Festival (second or third weekend in June), Labor Day, Jazz Festival (generally the weekend after Labor Day), Columbus Day, Christmas and New Year's; Four Nights for Thanksgiving
    Rentals of less than 31 days require collection of 9% hotel tax plus 2% County Business Improvement Area tax.

    Turn Days:    		 Most homes have established turn days for check-in/check-out in July and August.
