Powder River Ranch (~2842sf) is a custom-built, contemporary home, luxuriously decorated with great flair and style, sitting on 4.7 acres overlooking rolling hills, meadows and vineyards, the forests and mountains beyond, and even a glimpse of the Russian River. The main level of this home has a living room with dining set, which opens to a large deck and outdoor dining. Off a short hall, there are two bedrooms (one very small) and a bathroom. The small bedroom has its own entrance to the deck. Off the other end of the living room, the kitchen includes a sitting area with fireplace. Steps lead down to another bathroom and to a deck and hot tub, overlooking the animal menagerie. Off the kitchen, the master bedroom has its own bathroom and deck with small hot tub. The master bedroom also opens to the main deck. Downstairs, there's another bedroom with its own bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette and covered patio. There are also an unoccupied cottage and outbuildings on the property.

"Our stay at Powder River Ranch was heavenly. The panoramic views of the rolling hills, redwood trees, vineyards and river are breathtaking. The expansive decks were a great way to take in all the majestic beauty surrounding the home. The farm animals certainly were an added bonus to watch grazing and playing in the fenced in yard. Such a treat! The grounds are so large and bountiful. Views! Views! Views! from every window.
The home itself with its large rooms, high ceilings and plush furnishings was amazing. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the baths are luxurious and tasteful. The bamboo hardwood floors throughout the home are simply "spectacular".
Our stay was one of the best vacations we've had....Staying at Powder River Ranch you really feel as if you are on top of the world....the location and total privacy can't be beat. Yet two minutes up the road and you are in town.
Waking up in the morning and seeing such beauty starts out your day with a smile!

Off-season and last minute, the master bedroom with bath and kitchen/dining/family room, may sometimes be rented as a lockoff for two people only. Both hot tubs and all the grounds are accessible. The rate is $185/night, plus cleaning of $90, booking/damage insurance fee of $75, and 11% tax. Call to inquire.
