This jewel of a home is located in a secluded, lush redwood canyon, 1.5 miles from the town of Guerneville's family beach, restaurants, coffeehouses, shops, bars, and supermarket. There's world-class wine tasting and hiking just 10 minutes away.
House:
Decorated with exotic artwork from travels far and wide and updated for maximum comfort, Mays Canyon Retreat lets the light and outdoors into every room through windows and french doors. The living room has hardwood floors, single sleeper, a wet bar, Cable TV with HBO, surround sound, DVD, and full stereo system, and a wood-burning stove. The large, bright kitchen has a gas range and eat-in dining set. With living room sleeper, this home sleeps five. The large back bedroom has tile floors, a piano, desk/computer work area, satellite TV, and queen bed. The front bedroom has a double bed, and opens up to the deck and 6-person hot tub. The bathroom has shower only.
Grounds:
Located on several acres, Mays Canyon Retreat is surrounded by redwoods, apple trees, and a small fish pond. The deck has comfortable seating, redwood picnic table and gas barbeque with rotisserie. There is a stone patio with fire pit. A fairy grove of redwoods with terra cotta tile floors provides a cool place to sit during the hot afternoons.
Please Note: Dogs must be kept on leash on the grounds of and roads surrounding this home.
