Russian River Kayak Tour | top
Perfect for Nature Lovers...This tour meets on the river in Healdsburg at 9:30am for a quick safety talk, and you'll be on the river by 10:00am. As you begin paddling down the regal Russian River, your guide will talk about local history and will point out unique flora and fauna. Look out for egrets, herons, cormorants, and even otters along the river bank. The river is fairly calm with a few areas with Class I rapids; perfect for the enthusiastic beginner and the experienced paddler alike. The scenery changes as you make your way downriver from narrow sections of water between banks full of lush vegetation to a wider river surrounded by vineyards and meadows. Midday you are served a picnic lunch along one of the many small beaches at the water’s edge. Next to the glistening water, you will enjoy lunch, and afterwards there will be plenty of time to take a dip in the cool water— the perfect way to refresh yourself in the warm afternoon sun. Around 3pm you reach the pull-out location, where you take your kayak out of the water and drive back to your car at the meeting location.

Jenner Coastal Kayak Tour | top
A Lovely Day on the Coast...This tour meets on the coast in Jenner at 10:00am for a quick safety talk, and you are on the water by 10:30am. As you begin paddling along the Russian River estuary, your guide will talk about this unique area and its history. Enjoy your beautiful surroundings; sandy beach and cliffs on one side, with rolling hills and pastures filled with trees on the other. Watch for many birds, including herons & egrets, as well as fish in the water and deer in the meadows. The water is fairly calm with some current; perfect for both those who want to relax and those who want a challenge. Midday you are served a picnic lunch along one of the many small beaches at the water’s edge. Next to the glistening water you will enjoy lunch, and afterwards there will be plenty of time to take a dip in the cool water—the perfect way to refresh yourself in the warm afternoon sun. During the day you will make your way out towards the Harbor Seals that call the beach at Jenner their home. From a safe distance you watch them sun themselves and take dips in the cool water. Around 2pm you head back to the launch to take your kayak out of the water, so there is plenty of time to take a drive along the coast or enjoy a leisurely drive through the redwoods on your way home.

Farm Fresh Bike Tour | top
Are you into farm fresh goodies? Well, Sonoma County offers some of the best produce, fruit and wine anywhere on the planet. Besides an amazing climate and great soil, creative local artisan producers have come up with some wild and wonderful organic and sustainable farming methods. This tour will take you behind the scenes to see where many of the top local restaurants get their produce; you will also enjoy a fun and relaxed bike ride in arguably the most beautiful biking area on earth! Led by the best bike guides in the business, you’ll visit farms, wineries, fruit producers, garlic specialists, olive oil specialists, and lots more. Along the way you’ll gather some ingredients for your lunch and enjoy the bounty of Sonoma County on this wonderful day (offered most days in season). The tour meets in Healdsberg at 9:30am. Once fitted and ready to ride, you will cycle the short distance to the first stop: Dragon Fly Farms. You will briefly tour their facility and gather seasonal flowers to add to the salad we will enjoy at lunch. You then cycle 5 miles up to Quivira winery, one of the most intriguing organic and sustainable wineries in the valley. You’ll visit their seasonal vegetable gardens and then you’ll check out their quirky chicken coop with colorful and exotic chickens. Quivira is also known for their balanced care of the environment, and they give back in many ways, from restoring creeks to creating pools for spawning fish. From there you'll cycle another few miles over to either Dry Creek Peach & Produce or Bernier Garlic Farms for a lunch stop. Here, part of lunch will be created from the morning “harvest”. After lunch, you'll cycle 3 miles back down to Dry Creek Road to the final stop at Kokomo Winery and an olive oil press facility. You'll get an insider’s look at producing local olive oil and taste one of Sonoma County's favorite wines. Then, you'll head back to the starting point.

Healdsberg Sip 'n Cycle Tour | top
Active Relaxation...This tour meets in downtown Healdsburg at 9:30am for a bike fitting and quick safety talk, and you are on the road by 10:00am. As you begin your ride out to the beautiful Dry Creek Valley, your guide will talk about local history and will help you understand the process of growing grapes and making wine. You'll cycle along quiet country lanes to visit small, family-owned wineries. You may have the opportunity to taste some of the zinfandel the Dry Creek Valley is famous for, taste wine directly from the barrel, or try a new and unusual varietal such as fume blanc. The route is moderately hilly, taking you up and down along the valley while surrounded by lush green hills. Midday you'll be served a gourmet picnic lunch at one of the scenic winery stops. Among the vibrant vineyards you will enjoy lunch, which typically includes local organic greens, artisan cheeses, organic meats, fresh baked bread, orzo feta salad, seasonal fruit, dessert, and a variety of drinks. After lunch, you'll visit one or two more wineries, often stopping an organic & biodynamic winery that bakes its own bread daily. After a final winery stop, we head back to the haven of Healdsburg, arriving around 3:30pm.

Pedal 'n Paddle Tour | top
The Best of Both Worlds...This tour meets in Alexander Valley at 9:30am for a bike fitting and quick safety talk, and you'll be on the road by 10:00am. As you begin your ride out through the beautiful Alexander Valley, your guide will talk about local history and will help you understand the process of growing grapes and making wine. You'll cycle along quiet country lanes to visit small, family-owned wineries. The route is fairly flat and easy,
taking you along the lush vineyards filling the valley floor. Midday you'll be served a gourmet picnic lunch under shady oaks at one of the scenic winery stops. Among the vibrant vineyards you will enjoy our lunch, which typically includes local organic greens, artisan cheeses, organic meats, fresh baked bread, orzo feta salad, seasonal fruit, dessert, and a variety of drinks. After lunch you'll walk through the vineyards down to the river. You'll get into your kayak and begin floating down the calm Russian River, watching for herons, egrets, and otters. There is time to stop and take a dip in the river as you marvel in your beautiful surroundings. Around 3pm you'll return to Alexander Valley.
