    Russian River Vacation Rental

          Location: Located in a quiet, wooded, river-front area off the main thoroughfare, Johnny's Landing is within easy walking distance of downtown Guerneville, DuBrava Beach, the local Grill and Mexican place. It's a two mile drive to Northwood Golf Club, and a five minute drive to the movie theater in Monte Rio.

          House: With gorgeous river and redwood grove views, this charming little log cabin features vintage wood paneling and open beamed ceilings. There are a half dozen steps to the front door but otherwise single level. The dining area and living room are open to each other, with an adorable nook for the kitchen. The living room is arranged around a beautiful river rock wood-burning fireplace and Cable TV with VCR/DVD and has a queen sleeper. The pass-through bathroom has a shower and opens off the living room. On the other side, the one bedroom is intimate and cozy with a queen bed and TV with VCR. Opening from the living room, the large deck is surrounded by trees, including redwoods, and has a river view, charcoal barbecue, patio dining set for six, and hot tub. There is a high-speed Internet access for those who want to bring their laptops.

          Grounds: The garden is a wonderful place to hang out and relax with a wood couch-size swing and a patio with dining set for four. The river access is via steps, path, short ladder, and seasonal dock, with two single kayaks included. Please note that the river access at the cabin is not suitable for those with physical infirmity or disability due to the steep path and three rung ladder access down to the dock.
