          Luxury at its finest---the Birdcage is a remarkable example of the work by one of the area's finest architects.  Beautifully designed and furnished in a striking contemporary style, this home is for the discerning who will appreciate every detail of its fine appointments, including its art collection.   From its comfortable river view living area, complete with fireplace, there is a lounging deck providing both privacy and spectacular views.  On this floor there are two bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other with a queen and a twin, and an elegant bath with shower.  There is also a sleeper in the living room, so the house provides four separate sleeping spaces for a total of five people.

          On the rooftop is an extraordinary deck with large hot tub, as well as a wet bar, gas barbecue, dining set and loungers.  This deck offers the same privacy and, if possible, even more spectacular river views than the lower level deck.  Stairs lead to a dock where there are two single kayaks waiting for leisurely paddling on the river (seasonal, usually June through September).

          The house is elevated and includes a parking space for a recreational vehicle.  Guernewood Park is one mile west of downtown Guerneville.

    Rentals of less than 31 days require collection of 9% hotel tax plus 2% County Business Improvement Area tax.
    Summer
    Turn Days:    		 Most homes have established turn days for check-in/check-out in July and August.
