          In a lovely, tranquil setting in a redwood grove near Austin Creek, Austin Reef is a beautiful one bedroom home with a living/dining/kitchen area with hardwood floors, stylish and comfortable furnishings, a wood stove, vaulted ceiling with ceiling fan, and a wall of glass looking out into the redwood trees.

          Sleeping four, the small bedroom has a queen bed and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room; the bath has a delightful tropical theme and has a shower. The kitchen opens onto a secure deck which faces the redwood grove and has a hot tub, patio furniture, and barbecue. The large redwood-studded yard is completely fenced. Adjacent to the yard is a lovely path through the redwood trees ending at a beach on Austin Creek after a few minutes walk. This beach access path is not open to the public; it is reserved for the use of the few homes along the path and guests seldom see anyone else at the beach.

          If you don't know Austin Creek and the Cazadero area, this is a lovely opportunity to explore this beautiful creek environment.  The house stays cool due to the redwoods, but the creek beach offers plenty of sunshine. The river beaches are a five minute drive and the ocean beaches are a ten minute drive.
